On-Line Training

FEMA Courses - This includes such courses as IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-800. Courses are free and offered through the Emergency Management Institute. You will need to create a student ID to use the system; the page walks you through how to do so. When you have completed courses, be sure to save the email you receive with a link to your certificate. Save your certificates and forward them to the county Emergency Coordinator, Brad Proctor, at kd0wfx@gmail.com

ARRL Communications Courses - These courses are available for a fee and take several months to complete. They are not required for ARES participation but may be very helpful.
